R Centauri

Recent lightcurve

These lightcurves includes ASAS-3 data for comparison. Also data by Giorgio Di Scala published in the AAVSO database (Henden, 2008). There is also a V observation from Platais et al. (A&A 397, 997, 2003) included.

R Centauri -  A mira star that used to pulsate with a 550 days period in 1950's but now the period has decreased to ~500 days.

Maxima II = JD  2451288 -  2451805 -  2452295 - 2452793 - 2453290 (?) - 2453800

Minima I =   JD  2451468 (?) -  2451960 (?) - 2452450 - 2452950 - 2453460 - 2453960

Minima II =  JD  2451680 -  2452190 - 2452720 - 2453200 (?) - 2453710 (?) - 2454225
